Drink water and keep hydrated throughout summer

It’s really important to stay hydrated, especially in warm weather, so make sure you drink at least 5 or 6 glasses of water per day.

Keep your house shady and cool

Close the windows and pull the blinds during the day, then open the windows in the evening if the temperature cools sufficiently.

Relax under a sun umbrella in your garden to keep protected from the sun

You can still enjoy your garden safely during the summer, just make sure you have a shady spot to sit in and are wearing sun protection.

Dress appropriately for the heat

Wear cotton clothing that is loose and cool.
